The Drew County Solid Waste Department includes the Sanitation Department & Landfill. It manages public health and environment by collecting and disposing of solid waste (trash, recycling, tires), operating landfills, enforcing codes, and maintaining clean public areas.

Mon-Fri: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m
-All residents (per 911 address) are required to pay for trash service.
-Bills are mailed out at the beginning of each quarter (Jan, Apr, July, Oct) and due by the end of the quarter (Mar, June, Sept, Dec).
-Failure to receive a bill in the mail does not excuse customers from payment.

The Drew County Landfill is a Class IV Landfill that accepts non-hazardous, bulky, and inert waste, such as construction/demolition debris (C&D), yard waste, furniture, appliances, etc.
